Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton

Beginning any new journey gives me butterflies in the tummy. There is anticipation and, at times, self-doubt, associated within those first steps. Deciding that Faith trumps fear any old day and believing that everyone needs a good laugh, here I am!
I blame my upbringing for so many things (good & bad): dorkiness, awkwardness, clumsiness, dry wit, and …oh…you want the good things, too?? I am loyal (to a fault), dependable, overly-organized (obsessive), and always eager to learn. My passion for reading started long, long ago and carried me to far-away places with scenic back-sets and intriguing characters. My parents would look for me and usually find me curled up with a book or listening to ‘that rock & roll’ music in my room. Now, I escape stress, learn new tricks, or entertain the thought of ‘self help’ with the help of books and the internet. Excelling in English, I enjoyed writing and often thought I would, at some point, write professionally. Little did I know, the only thing I would be writing is Listing descriptions in the MLS!
Yes, I am a REALTOR. My passion. The thing that wakes me up and keeps me busy morning, noon, and night. I love that I’m able to help people make their dreams come true. Nurturing relationships that go beyond a transaction makes my heart happy. I’ve met so many wonderful people on this journey and wake up each day ready to meet even more.
Someone once asked me, “What’s the funniest thing you’ve ever seen with a client?” Oddly enough, I didn’t have to think too long. I was showing homes to a woman and she needed to use a restroom. She stopped at a convenience store, between Showings, and I went ahead to met her at our next home. As she walked past me in the living room, I looked down and realized that she had a two foot long run of toilet paper hanging out from under her sweater, on her backside! Me, being Me…CLICK! I captured the memory forever!! Yeah, yeah… I’m horrible.
Life is funny. Everyday things are funny. Ignore the News and open a book.
